Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Junior League Of Greenville?

The Junior League of Greenville, Inc. (JLG) is an organization of about 1,200 women – all committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  The JLG engages in initiatives that help women in our community overcome barriers, focusing on human trafficking and economic mobility. One of the most effective ways we do this is through our annual fundraisers like Shop For Greenville – and we need you to make it happen! Learn more here.

Will my favorite store sign up?

If you have a store you’d love to see participate this year, let them know about us!  We are always looking for new businesses to participate and would love to know where you want to shop most.  If you know of a store that would be interested but needs more details, email us directly.

Where can I purchase a card?

Discount cards can be purchased via the JLG website as well as in select retailers for the same price.

Where will the card proceeds go?

– the Empowered Women of Greenville event, a one-day event in March 2022 that focuses on wellness, career development, financial literacy, and building community for women in Greenville County, including clients of our community partner agencies (Jasmine Road, Julie Valentine Center, Pendleton Place, SWITCH, The Family Effect, and United Ministries) as well as professional women.
